Original images

This image will probably not be used in any of the products which I have to create for this project because there is too much space at the bottom of the image which shows nothing but a road and cropping the image would make it an odd proportion to fit into any of the products. The image also seems a little out of focus.

This image will be used on one of the products for this coursework. This is because the image features a family and an activity which could both appeal to a young target audience. The family side of this may make my magazine more relatable to the younger side of my target audience. Cycling can also be seen as a fun and exciting activity and will often appeal to young people who are looking for an active lifestyle. The image is good because the lighting is good and the image is well focused.

This image will be good at appealing to my target audience of young people. This is because kayaking as an activity can be seen as exciting and adventurous, which are key themes for people within my target audience. The image is well focused but their may be some editing required in order to make the image brighter as at the minute it appear dull which defeats the object of having a fun and exciting image.

This image is very likely to be used in the products needed for this project. This is for a number of reasons. The first reason for using this image is because it will give the reader a clear image of the area which I am talking about, as the image shows what the landscape looks like, with the cliffs in the background and the sea off to the side. The image will also be good at attracting a young target audience. This is because it features a model of a similar age to the audience which I am trying to attract, wearing clothes which are affordable to their class, and she is of the same ethnicity as my target audience. This will allow my audience to relate to the magazine and know that it is aimed at them through the use of this model.

The image again features kayaks in the background which again can be seen as fun and exciting which should also help this image to appeal to my target audience. 

This image is also likely to get featured on one of the products for my coursework. This is because it shows people kayaking at one of the locations which I have chosen to feature in the magazine. The action shot of these people will appeal to my target audience because this can be seen as fun and exciting which as the media theorist Stanley Hall said all youth seek fun and excitement. The people in this image are also of a similar age and ethnicity to my target audience allowing them to relate to my products.

The image may be used in my products as it will give the reader a clear idea of what the area which I am talking about looks like.

This image may be used as it features the sam model as previous images and the lighting gives the image a nice effect which may be appealing to my target audience. 

This image isn't really suitable for use as it doesn't show much of the area. However, the image of the dog may appeal to the female side of my target audience. 

The use of the model in this image is good at appealing to my target audience but unlike previous images doesn't show a lot about the area which I am talking about. 

The image is good as it features the model and the landscape. The lighting of this image is also fairly bight which will make it more appealing for my target audience as the image unlike previous ones doesn't come across as dull.

This image is similar the one above but may be better suited as a cover image because it is in a portrait orientation making it better suited for this purpose.

This is a nice landscape image but will probably not appeal to my target audience as it doesn't feat any people or any activities so could come across as boring. 

This image may be seen as fun by my target audience and could be suitable as a background image for a contents page as there is plenty of space where I could position text.

The lighting of this image creates a sort of silhouette with may be attractive to my target audience. There are also people of a similar age to my target audience.

This image is good because it features a nice landscape and features a family with a daughter of a similar age to my target audience. This could make the magazine more relatable.
